They should have the ability to visualize an outfit before they start drawing and stitching.
Artistic
Another important quality that a fashion designer should posses is artistic skill. It will be an added advantage if they know about computer aided drawing tools.
Sewing

Communication

There are many graphic softwares and tools to create and sketch designs. It will be an added advantage the designer is familiar with these tools because many companies prefer designers who know these tools.
